A LIQUID MICRONUTRIENT
Boron is essential for germination of pollen grains and growth of pollen tubes and is essential for seed and cell wall formation. Boron deficiency generally results in stunted plant growth. In most crops the symptoms of boron deficiency are quite specific such as crooked stem in celery, corky core in apples, black heart in beets, hollow heart in peanuts and ringed leaf petioles in cotton. Organic matter is an important source of soil boron. High soil pH also limits boron availability.

ACTAGRO 2.5% BORON is formulated in a patented process for the prevention or correction of boron deficiencies in plants and may be effectively used for both foliar and soil applications. It contains Actagro Organic Acids® which may aid in soil and foliar applied micronutrient availability.
ACTAGRO 2.5% BORON is recommended for band application during preplant, planting or sidedress operations.
ACTAGRO 2.5% BORON is non-phytotoxic when used as directed and is compatible with most pesticides and fertilizers.
ACTAGRO 2.5% BORON will be influenced by differences in varieties, soil and environmental conditions and should be applied under conditions of optimum plant growth. Optimum conditions are defined as adequate humidity, moderate temperatures and adequate soil moisture. Optimum conditions for most crops generally occur during early morning or late evening hours.
ACTAGRO 2.5% BORON disperses well in water. For best results, mix as follows:
1. Partially fill tank with water or fertilizer and start agitation.
2. Add other nutrients or pesticides if compatible.
3. Add 2.5% BORON to circulating tank mix.
4. Fill tank and agitate thoroughly.
SOIL APPLICATION RATES
VEGETABLES, CUCURBITS, FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply through a drip system or inject into the soil 3 to 6 inches deep off to the side of the seed placement area. May be applied with preplant or sidedress fertilizers. Use 1 to 4 quarts per acre. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Apply through a drip system or inject at the drip line 3 to 5 inches deep. In a drip system use 1 to 2 pints per acre. Use 1 to 2 quarts per acre with an injected fertilizer. Do not apply more than 4 pints per acre per year.
FOLIAR APPLICATION RATES
VEGETABLES, CUCURBITS, FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply 1 to 2 pints per acre in 15 to 25 gallons of water per acre as a directed foliar spray when plants are 8 to 12 inches in height. Aerial applications use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Apply 1 to 2 pints per acre. Aerial applications use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. Dilute or concentrate sprays use a minimum of 15 gallons of water per acre.
NOTE: For all crops, the rate of water used should be sufficient for thorough coverage. Coverage is dependent on proper droplet size and pressure. Repeat applications may be beneficial.
