A LIQUID MICRONUTRIENT
Copper is necessary for chlorophyll formation in plants and catalyzes several other plant reactions although it is not usually a part of the products formed by those reactions. Organic soils are most likely to be copper deficient, since copper is fixed in unavailable forms in these soils. High soil pH also decreases copper availability. Common symptoms of copper deficiency include dieback in citrus and blasting of onions. Leaves of copper-deficient vegetable crops lose turgor and develop a bluish-green shade before becoming chlorotic and curling. Plants may fail to flower.

ACTAGRO 5% COPPER is formulated in a patented process for the prevention or correction of copper deficiencies in plants and can be effectively used for both foliar and soil applications. It contains Actagro Organic Acids® which may aid in soil and foliar applied micronutrient availability.
ACTAGRO 5% COPPER is recommended for foliar application as a dilute spray solution and should be applied early in the crops growth cycle for maximum utilization.
ACTAGRO 5% COPPER is recommended for band application during preplant, planting or sidedress operations.
ACTAGRO 5% COPPER is non-phytotoxic when used as directed and may be combined with most pesticides and fertilizers.
ACTAGRO 5% COPPER will be influenced by varieties, soil and environmental conditions and should be applied under conditions of optimum plant growth. Optimum conditions are defined as adequate humidity, moderate temperatures and adequate soil moisture. Optimum conditions for most crops generally occur during early morning or late evening hours.
ACTAGRO 5% COPPER disperses well in water. For best results mix as follows:
1. Partially fill tank with water or fertilizer and start agitation.
2. Add other nutrients or pesticides if compatible.
3. Add 5% COPPER to circulating tank mix.
4. Fill tank and agitate thoroughly.
SOIL APPLICATION RATES
VEGETABLES, CUCURBITS, FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply through a drip system or soil inject 3 to 6 inches deep either below or off to the side of the seed placement area. May be applied with preplant or sidedress fertilizers. Use 1 to 4 quarts per acre. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Apply through a drip system or inject at the drip line 3 to 5 inches deep. Use 1 to 4 quarts per acre.
FOLIAR APPLICATION RATES
VEGETABLES, CUCURBITS, FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply 1 to 2 pints per acre in 15 to 25 gallons of water per acre as a directed foliar spray when plants are 8 to 12 inches in height. By air use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Apply 1 to 2 quarts per acre. By air use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. Dilute or concentrate sprays use a minimum of 15 gallons of water per acre.
NOTE: For best results, use the lowest possible volume for thorough coverage and a small droplet size.
