FOLIAR PLUS™ is designed for foliar use to stimulate plant growth including earlier bloom and fruit formation. It is a manufactured product containing Actagro Organic Acids®, blended with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron and zinc.
FOLIAR PLUS™ is non-phytotoxic when used as directed and is compatible with most miticides and insecticides.
FOLIAR PLUS™ will be influenced by differences in varieties, soil and environmental conditions and should be applied under conditions of optimum plant growth. Optimum conditions are defined as adequate humidity, moderate temperatures and adequate soil moisture. Optimum conditions for most crops generally occur during morning or late evening hours.
1. Partially fill tank with water and start agitation.
2. Add other compatible pesticides or foliar nutrients.
3. Add FOLIAR PLUS™ to circulating tank mix.
4. Fill tank and agitate thoroughly.
FOLIAR PLUS™ may be applied to crops as a dilute foliar spray. Timing and rate of application are critical for best results.
FOLIAR APPLICATION RATES
COTTON: GENERAL RECOMMENDATION - When cotton plants are 7 to 14 inches in height apply 1 to 3 quarts of FOLIAR PLUS™ as a directed foliar spray. Follow in 2 to 3 weeks with a second application of FOLIAR PLUS™ at 2 - 3 quarts per acre. HIGH VIGOR GROWING CONDITIONS - When the cotton plants are 7 to 12 inches in height, apply FOLIAR PLUS™ as a directed foliar spray. Use 2 to 4 quarts of FOLIAR PLUS™ per acre, followed in 2 weeks with 2 to 4 quarts of FOLIAR PLUS™ per acre.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT, NUT TREES, OLIVES and CITRUS: Apply 2 to 4 quarts per acre in adequate water to insure thorough coverage. Apply when needed and do not exceed two applications per season.
GRAPES: Apply 2 to 4 quarts per acre when the vines have 12 to 20 inches of new cane growth. Use a concentrated spray where possible.
CHERRIES: To enhance maturity and uniformity at harvest, apply at straw color, 1 gallon per acre with 50 to 150 gallons of water. A second application may be applied two weeks later.
TOMATOES AND PEPPERS: Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre from early bloom to mature green fruit for vegetative type varieties. For vigorous varieties a second application may be necessary. Use a minimum of 5 to 20 gallons of water per acre for aerial and ground applications. Applications under stress conditions will affect the efficacy of the product.
BEANS: Apply one quart per acre at first flower. Apply with 5 to 20 gallons of water.
