U.S. PATENT NO. 4,698,090 and No. 4,769,221 FOLOPLEX® is a balanced foliar nutrient that can be extremely effective when applied to young vegetables, trees, vines or ornamentals with new or young foliage. Plants that have been stressed or suffered adverse growing conditions will benefit from the organic acid contained in the nutrient solution. The blend of N-P-K with zinc, iron, and manganese provides the basic formulation for growth and root development. When new plants, trees, or vines have four to six true leaves, it is a good stage to start applying Foloplex® to the foliage. The wetting action of the organics will aid in the uptake of the micronutrients and N-P-K.

FOLOPLEX® contains Actagro Organic Acids® extracted from leonardite in a patented formulation. These organic acids are then combined with liquid plant nutrients in a patented reaction process.
FOLOPLEX® is a complete foliar nutrient designed to stimulate bloom, fruit formation and the uptake of plant nutrients.
FOLOPLEX® contains a balance of nitrogen, available phosphate, potassium, iron, manganese and zinc.
FOLOPLEX® is non-phytotoxic when used as directed. FOLOPLEX® is recommended for foliar application as a dilute spray solution and should be applied early in the crop’s growth cycle.
FOLOPLEX® will be influenced by differences in varieties, soil and environmental conditions and should be applied under conditions of optimum plant growth. Optimum conditions are defined as adequate humidity, moderate temperatures and adequate soil moisture.
FOLOPLEX® disperses well in water as follows:
1. Partially fill tank with water and start agitation.
2. Add other nutrients or pesticides.
3. Add FOLOPLEX® to circulating tank mix.
4. Fill tank and agitate thoroughly.
FOLOPLEX® can be applied to most vegetables, cucurbits, field crops, row crops, deciduous fruit and nut trees, grapes, berries, olives and citrus. Timing and rate of application for each crop is critical for best results.
SOIL APPLICATION RATES
ALL CROPS: Apply 2 to 10 gallons per acre.
FOLIAR APPLICATION RATES
VEGETABLE, CUCURBIT, FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply 2 to 4 quarts per acre. In aerial application use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. In conventional sprayers use a minimum of 15 gallons of water per acre. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Apply 2 to 6 quarts per acre. In aerial applications use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. In dilute or concentrate sprays use a minimum of 15 gallons of water per acre.
NOTE: For best results use the lowest possible volume for thorough coverage and a small droplet size. Repeat applications may be beneficial.
