U.S. PATENT No. 4,698,090 and NO. 4,786,307
10.6 lbs. per gallon (1271 grams/liter) @ 68° F
A LIQUID MICRONUTRIENT
Magnesium is a constituent of chlorophyll and is actively involved in photosynthesis. Magnesium aids in phosphate metabolism, plant utilization of sugars and the activation of several enzyme systems. Deficiency first appears as a light, yellowish, faded discoloration with the veins remaining green. In crops such as corn, the leaves are yellowish or very light green striped with veins remain green. In some crops a reddish-purple color develops with green veins.

ACTAGRO 3% Magnesium is formulated in a patented process for the prevention or correction of magnesium deficiencies in plants and can be effectively used for both foliar and soil applications. It contains Actagro Organic AcidsŪ which may aid in soil and foliar applied micronutrient availability.
ACTAGRO 3% Magnesium is recommended for foliar application as a dilute spray and should be applied early in the crops growth cycle for maximum utilization.
ACTAGRO 3% Magnesium is recommended for band application during preplant, planting or sidedress operations.
ACTAGRO 3% Magnesium is non-phytotoxic when used as directed and may be combined with most pesticides and fertilizers.
ACTAGRO 3% Magnesium will be influenced by differences in varieties, soil and environmental conditions and should be applied under conditions of optimum plant growth. Optimum conditions are defined as adequate humidity, moderate temperatures and adequate soil moisture. Optimum conditions for most crops generally occur during early morning or late evening hours.
ACTAGRO 3% Magnesium disperses well in water. For best results, mix as follows:
1. Partially fill tank with water or fertilizer and start agitation.
2. Add other nutrients or pesticides if compatible.
3. Add ACTAGRO 3% Magnesium to circulating tank mix.
4. Fill tank and agitate thoroughly.
SOIL APPLICATION RATES
VEGETABLE, CUCURBIT, FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply through a drip system or inject into the soil 3 to 6 inches deep either below or off to the side of the plant row. May be applied with preplant or sidedress fertilizers. Use 2 to 4 quarts per acre. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Apply through a drip system or inject at the drip line 3 to 5 inches deep. Use 2 to 4 quarts per acre.
FOLIAR APPLICATION RATES
VEGETABLE, CUCURBIT, FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply 2 to 4 pints per acre in 15 to 25 gallons of water per acre as a directed foliar spray when plants are 8 to 12 inches in height. For aerial applications, use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES & CITRUS: Apply 2 to 4 pints per acre. Aerial applications use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. Dilute or concentrate sprays use a minimum of 15 gallons of water per acre.
NOTE: For best results use the lowest possible volume for thorough coverage and a small droplet size.
