PLANT AND FRUITING STIMULANT WITH IRON AND ZINC

PHOCON® is designed for foliar use to stimulate plant growth including earlier bloom and fruit formation. It is a manufactured product containing organic acids, blended with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron and zinc. PHOCON® is non-phytotoxic when used as directed and is compatible with most miticides and insecticides. PHOCON® will be influenced by differences in varieties, soil and environmental conditions and should be applied under conditions of optimum plant growth. Optimum conditions are defined as adequate humidity, moderate temperatures and adequate soil moisture. Optimum conditions for most crops generally occur during morning or late evening hours.

PHOCON® contains Actagro Organic Acids® extracted from leonardite in a patented formulation.  These organics are then combined with liquid plant nutrients in a patented reaction process.

1. Partially fill tank with water and start agitation.

2. Add other nutrients or pesticides.

3. Add PHOCON® to circulating tank.

4. Fill tank and agitate thoroughly.

PHOCON® may be applied to crops as a dilute foliar spray.  Timing, concentration and rate of application are critical for best results.




FOLIAR APPLICATION RATES

CITRUS: Late season to enhance maturity; apply one month prior to harvest at 1-2 gallons per acre. May be repeated two weeks later.

GRAPES: To enhance maturity and develop color: RED WINE GRAPES (Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah): treat early season at 12" to 18" cane growth - apply 2-3 quarts per acre. Second application at shatter - apply 2-3 quarts per acre. Verasion - apply 2-4 quarts per acre. Three to four weeks prior to harvest - apply 1 gallon per acre. Make all applications in 15 to 50 gallons of water per acre.

TABLE GRAPES: Crimson - apply post verasion at 1 gallon per acre. Apply second application three weeks later at 1-2 gallons per acre. Apply third application three weeks later at 1-2 gallons per acre. DO NOT APPLY ONE WEEK PRIOR TO HARVEST. Make all applications in 15 to 50 gallons of water per acre.

STRAWBERRIES: Treat mid-season before excessive growth to reduce vegetative growth and to extend season; apply 1-2 gallons per acre. Apply second application three weeks later at 1-2 gallons per acre. Make all applications in 10 to 20 gallons of water per acre.

PROCESSING TOMATOES: Apply 1 gallon per acre in 5-15 gallons of water per acre, two to five weeks prior to harvest date. Excessively vigorous varieties or excessive vine growth may require additional treatment. Cool temperatures below 85°F may require second application of one gallon per acre. Applications under stress conditions will affect the efficacy of product. Consult Actagro or your local dealer for optimal weather and moisture condition information.

COTTON: To reduce vegetative growth. PIMA - apply 1-2 quarts @ 10 nodes then re-apply 2 quarts in 1-2 weeks. UPLAND - apply 2 quarts @ 6-8 nodes. Re-apply 2 quarts in 10-14 days. Make all applications in 10 gallons of water per acre

CAUTION: If any other chemicals are to be use in the spray mixture be sure to check compatibility. PHOCON® is not compatible with inorganic salts of heavy metals like magnesium, copper, manganese, zinc and iron compounds. Do not mix PHOCON® with conventional calcium based fertilizers.
