U.S. PATENT No. 4,786,307, No. 4,769,221 and No. 4,698,090 STRUCTURE'S® patented nitrogen and phosphate formulation with zinc, made with exclusive highly refined humus based organics, provides a proven fertility foundation from which specific crop nutrition programs can be designed. The humus-based organics in STRUCTURE® have a high CEC (cation exchange capacity). Actagro’s formulation increases the soil’s ability to hold cations (iron, zinc, calcium, potassium, etc). STRUCTURE® protects phosphate from tie-up and reduces nitrogen loss. Actagro’s propriety technology offers a nutritional formulation with a high anion holding capacity. This unique characteristic protects two of the most important anions in plant nutrition in the following manner: Structure® holds nitrates longer in an available form in the root zone and prevents them from leaching. Structure® reduces phosphate fixation and prevents the loss of applied phosphates in acid soil reactions with aluminum and iron, and in calcareous soils with calcium. As a result a higher level of readily available phosphate is provided. STRUCTURE® stimulates nutrient uptake. Good assimilation of phosphorus and zinc in the early stages of plant growth stimulates accelerated root expansion and results in uniform, vigorous plant growth. It can be placed directly under or close to germinating seeds so that young root systems can grow immediately into the nutrient band without danger of phytotoxicity. It assists in rapid, seedling development, even in saline and cold soils.

STRUCTURE® contains Actagro Organic Acids® extracted from leonardite in a patented formulation. These organic acids are then combined with liquid plant nutrients in a patented reaction process.
STRUCTURE® contains nitrogen, available phosphate, potash and chelated zinc. This combination of nitrogen, phosphate, potash and zinc is intended to stimulate early root development, plant growth and fruit set. Using this product in a full Actagro fertilization program may allow for a reduction in total applied nitrogen and phosphate.
STRUCTURE® may be placed safely 1-2 inches below seeds or directly injected into root system as the product is non-phytotoxic at recommended rates.
STRUCTURE® is designed for use in all soil types. It should be concentrated for maximum response. Apply it as a band in the soil or inject it through drip or micro-sprinkler systems. Application rates will vary depending on the crop grown.
STRUCTURE® is an effective foliar nutrient when mid or late season phosphate levels fall below optimum values. Multiple applications may be beneficial. Applications should be made at night or early in the morning.
ACTAGRO STRUCTURE® mixes easily with water as follows:
1. Partially fill tank with water and start agitation.
2. Add pesticides or other nutrients. STRUCTURE® is compatible with micronutrients if used at a minimum of 8 parts to 1 part micronutrient.
3. Add STRUCTURE® to circulating tank mix.
4. Fill tank and agitate thoroughly.
ACTAGRO STRUCTURE® can be applied to most vegetable and cucurbit crops, field crops, row crops, deciduous fruit and nut trees, grapes, berries, olives and citrus. Timing and rate of application for each crop is critical for best results.
SOIL APPLICATION RATES
VEGETABLES, CUCURBITS, ROW CROPS, FIELD CROPS: Inject 15 to 30 gallons per acre prior to planting in the soil 2 to 4 inches directly below the seed line. Alfalfa hay: dribble 10 gallons per acre. Over newly harvested hay stubble; spray or dribble 8 to 12 gallons per acre. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Inject 10 to 30 gallons per acre 3 to 5 inches deep at the drip line, or surface band and water into the soil.
DRIP IRRIGATION - MICRO SPRINKLER
ALL CROPS: Use 5 to 20 gallons per acre per irrigation. Continue irrigation for a minimum of 2 hours after application to flush lines and to maximize nutrient distribution.
TURF: Apply through drip or sprinkler system. Use 1 to 2 quarts per 1000 sq. feet, 3-4 times per season.
FOLIAR APPLICATION RATES
CAUTION: Foliar application of STRUCTURE® close to harvest may leave a brown residue on the harvestable portion of the crop. Rainfall, sprinkler irrigation or high humidity should alleviate this condition.
VEGETABLES, CUCURBITS, COLE CROPS, POTATOES, PEPPERS AND TOMATOES: Use as a supplemental phosphate source prior to mid-season. Additional applications may be necessary. Apply with 15 to 30 gallons of water per acre at rates of 2 to 4 gallons of STRUCTURE® per acre depending on bed size. May be applied through center pivot irrigation systems.
ALL ROW CROPS, INCLUDING POTATOES: Use 1-5 gallons per acre. Multiple applications may be required. Apply with 5 to 20 gallons of water per acre.
DECIDUOUS FRUIT AND NUT TREES, GRAPES, OLIVES AND CITRUS: Apply 2 to 4 gallons per acre in a minimum of 50 gallons of water.
NOTE: For all crops, the rate of water should be sufficient for thorough coverage. Coverage is dependent on proper droplet size, which is a function of nozzle size and pressure.
